Share the Books & Raise Awareness
The most valuable support you can offer is helping us spread the word about T1D awareness and the book series!
Sharing and Printing:
Downloadable Print Kit: Get a kit of print-ready files (posters, flyers, etc.) that you can print locally to raise awareness about T1D and the book series in your community, school, or clinic.
Downloadable Social Media Kit: Access files with various visuals optimized for social media (Instagram posts, Stories, etc.) to raise awareness online by posting and sharing with your network.
Print the Books: You can also download and print the books to share with others.
Translate a Book
Do you speak a language in which one of the books is not yet available?
We need your help to make these resources accessible to more children globally. Feel free to contact me to provide a translation and thus make the books useful to a wider audience.
I can provide you with the book's text file, making the translation process simpler for you.
For specific languages using a non-Latin alphabet (e.g., Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic...), please expect that I will need your proofreading assistance and potential support with the formatting process.
Share Your Artistic or Writing Talent
T1D Journey is meant to be a community thing! I'd be more than happy to collaborate with people willing to share their efforts in this project. As long as the purpose and values (see the 'About this project' page) suit you, why not joining the series by sharing your artistic or writing skills in one of the upcoming books?
Contact me saying which way you'd like to contribute (illustration, writing, editing...) and we'll work this out.
A note on AI-generated content:
For ethical reasons and to maintain the human-centered spirit of this series, the single use of AI to generate texts and/or illustrations is not welcome within the T1D Journey series. This is a human project. If you feel inspired using this technology to create similar books, I can only invite you to do so on your own. There are no bad resources at all, and every way of expression is fine, it’s just not something I’d want to see in the series, as an human artist and writer.
